Description:

The Magpie-lark was around 20 to 30 cm long
We give him a nick name "Murray the Magpie".

we think there is a family because there are heaps every where but it could be the same one?
Great spotting. Murray is a good name as this is a male magpie-lark. Keep an eye out for a female, you can tell the difference by the direction of the black feathers around their eyes and whether or not they have a black or white throat. Females have white throats, and the black markings over the eyes are vertical.
Very interisting animal. Do you know the scientific name? If so please tell me.
