Description:

Large (70 - 80cm tall) ground bird, Totally black, black plummage, black legs, black beak, contrasted with striking red fleshy patches above the eyes and under the beak. Large black eyes and long eyelashes.

Habitat:

Seen in open grassland in Tarangire.
