Description:

Large butterfly with a wingspan of 3.75 to 4.25 inches. Top and bottom of wings are a pattern of black to blue to purple with highlights of white. Compact wing shape

Habitat:

Located in a conservatory. Captive individual. Does not exist outside of this enclosed and protected environment

Mick - Did you photograph this species in the wild or was it in a captive display like Butterfly World? This is not a native Florida species, so if it was in captivity, please remove it from the Butterflies of Florida group, since it's for native species only. Thanks!
