I have a Kodiak bird list so I'll go through that and see if I can find a match https://www.fws.gov/uploadedFiles/Region_7/NWRS/Zone_2/Kodiak/PDF/knwr_bird_broc_2009.pdf

I looked at juvenile sparrows and none have thin bills like this one
Jellis, I haven't had much luck matching it up with sparrows in the area which is why I suggested juvenile. I was leaning more towards fox or song sparrow but I wasn't sure if I could definitely rule out the other sparrows based on these photos. Do you still think Song Sparrow would fit?
your right I was looking at the wrong time of the year. but what I am confused about is the bill shape.
What are the others? EBird doesn't show anyone else reporting any others at this time
There are multiple species of sparrows here.. Do you mean it is the only one that looks similar?
By ebird it shows only Song Sparrows in that area. So it could be immature Song
