Field Notes

Description:

This is Tonga, an all white Serval. He lives near Tampa Florida. It is believed that Tonga is one of two all white Servals in existence today.

Tonga lives at a wild cat rescue in Florida and has had several medical issues in his life including but not limited to dental problems and nose cancer (he is missing part of his nose due to surgery but it doesn't affect his sense of smell).

The rescue that he lives in believes his white color is due to inbreeding. I have provided a link with further information about Tonga and the people that see to his needs.

Habitat:

Tonga unfortunately will spend the rest of his life in captivity.

Notes:

Tonga was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma at 15 years old.
