Field Notes

Description:

Small winter dark gray back and wings with white belly, short pale pink beak, fluffed out feathers to stay warm. Males tend to be darker than females.

Habitat:

Michigan wooded area very cold this morning -14 degrees.

Notes:

Sorry about the haze, cold weather and I had to zoom in as not to spoke him. Haven't seen this one about this winter until now.
