Description:

A Wild Turkey hiding in the grass. This chick is one of many. The mom continued to call hoping I would follow her to distract me away from the chick. I was on my morning walk with my dog (leached). Most of the babies flew off. This one stayed and hid. We continued on. Chick was about the size of my hand.

Habitat:

forest and bushy areas in field.
