Field Notes

Description:

Greenish/Gray small warbler, with yellow throat, and rump.

Habitat:

Backyard.

Notes:

I was not able to get a picture of the throat. but it definitely had a yellow throat, and even a small rust patch on the top of it's head.

Looks like a Yellow-rumped Warbler. Note the wing bars not seen on Virginia's Warblers.
Ok. I will do my best to get it on Claremont, Do you think the spotting itself is correct though, is it a hybrid of some sort?
Go to 'edit this spotting', and manually move the pointer on the map. That's the only way to get the location correct as of now. There is a problem with the map function, and that's all we can do until we get it fixed!
Please do not pay attention to the range map on this photo, it was taken in Claremont, California. My range map does not seem to be working right now.
