Description:

Moss growing on rock. Small herbaceous (non-woody) plants that absorb water and nutrients mainly through their leaves and harvest sunlight to create food by photosynthesis.

Habitat:

Rock in pine forest around Santa Fe Ski area at 10,000 ft.
