Field Notes

Description:

Two different specimens of the world renowned (or at least North American renowned) monarch butterfly. These are both males, noted as such due to the darker color of their wings (which is harder to tell with the second specimen).

Habitat:

Monarchs live in North America and the eastern ones migrate down south to Mexico and South America. Monarchs have also been transported to and bred on the International Space Station, which I think is pretty cool.
