Congratulations Leanne, your Wattle Bizarre Looper Moth has been chosen to illustrate our last Fact of the Day this year for Moth Week: We've sadly reached the last official day of #NationalMothWeek, during which we've been bringing you educational facts about moths in the family Geometridae (National Moth Week’s group of the year), courtesy of National Moth Week team member and Project Noah ranger Jacob Gorneau. This family consists of about 23,000 species worldwide, which is about 12% of all moths! Thank you all for participating and sharing the moths you’ve found this week. In two days we'll announce our Spotting of the Week for Moth Week. Stay tuned! On Project Noah all year round you can submit photos of moths you spot here: https://buff.ly/2LBq7tK Posting till August 5th included will still earn you our Moth Week 2018 patch. #MothWeek2018
Thank you Melinda. Many are just like antique lace.
