Description:
Hemidactylus frenatus is native to Southeast Asia . It goes by such names as the Pacific house gecko, the Asian house gecko, or simply, the house lizard.
They have highly developed eyesight and their feet have an uncanny ability to stick to almost any surface.
Adult house geckos can grow up to 13 cm in length.
Habitat:
Subtropical mountainous area, hot & humid, thick brush and trees.
Notes:
The one featured in these two photos measured approx. 6 cm. They are not easy to shoot, as they can detect very slight movements and will quickly scurry to the sanctity of the best available hiding spot if they feel any potential threat from whatever approaches them.
