Field Notes

Description:

Small gray chickadee, with black and white stripes on cap.

Habitat:

Backyard

Notes:

Lifer! I don't think that this little guy was supposed to come down the mountain this far, But it was quite nice to see him come back to my yard ever morning for about a week. He then flew off back up the mountain and hasn't returned since. He would stay at the feeder for only a couple seconds and then would leave, so it was quite hard to snap a photo of him.
