Description:

Among the many plants that grow rooted to the bottom of ponds, lakes, and sluggish rivers, these are best beloved, with thier bright, floating blossoms and deeply notched pads. The white flower has passed, but a Sugar Maple leaf and a yellowjacket are on the green pad.
