Description:

A small, multi-toned, green-yellow-amber, somewhat transparent-translucent, spittle bug. About 12mm.

Habitat:

Under strong lights in used car yard - hiding in the passenger door seal of a Holden..

Notes:

This is a type of spittle bug found on eucalyptus trees. Pectinariophyes nymphs live in calcerous tubes built usually at the axil on a small diameter plant stems.
