Description:
The leaves' shape is lanceolate and the margins are serrate. The ventation is parallel. The leaves are very large: about 40 cm wide and 150 cm long. The texture is rough. It seems that the tree has no trunk; the leaves just come straight up from the ground. There are no flowers or fruits either. The entire tree consists of just long stems and leaves. (The first picture is of the entire tree; the second is a close up of one of the leaves.)
Habitat:
Secondary rainforest floor. Seen in sunny location.
