Description:

Male Has a green head, white neck-ring, chesnut-brown chest, with gray sides, brown back.
Female is Brown colored and a violet speculum bordered by black and white.

Habitat:

Marshes, bogs, riverine floodplains, beaver ponds, lakes, city parks, etc.

Notes:

Average weight: Males- 2.7 lbs, Females 2.4 lbs
