Field Notes

Description:

In flight!!! They have long pink legs, a long thin black bill and are blackish above and white below, with a white head and neck with a varying amount of black.

Habitat:

At the waste-water treatment wetlands area.

Notes:

They flew directly overhead and it was quite a sight...black, white, and pink against a beautiful blue sky :) I might be wrong but I think there are a couple of juveniles in the flock!
