Field Notes

Description:

It is about 4 1/2 cm, the size of your thumb. It has a shiny, green sepal and light link and white petals.

Habitat:

It was found on a pile of rotten leaves on forest floor, next to a rotting log in a shaded area. It probably fell from a long, skinny tree that was near the fruit.
