Description:

Native to the Eastern US and Canada, the Whorled Yellow Loosetrife is an attractive plant with whorls of ovate green leaves. Small, five petaled yellow flowers with reddish centers are produced on long stalks at the leaf base of each whorl.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Rockwood Park, Virginia.
