Field Notes

Description:

It is a fungi found growing on a tree in the rainforest. It was about 7 inches in length and 4 inches in width. The top side was brown, whereas the side and bottom were white. There were lots of bugs living on the underside, we found a spiders web and a spider on the underside. It had a lumpy top side almost like little pebbles, it was rough and not smooth textured. There were multiple fungi of this kind on the same tree, some smaller some larger.

Habitat:

In the SAS (Singapore American School) rainforest. In shade of a tree but had some light. Growing on the side of a tree.

Notes:

There were lots of bugs on it, one spider web.
