Field Notes
Description:
Juveniles have orange/yellow beaks and pale brown irises, and otherwise resemble females in colouration. Males develop adult plumage at about the age of two years and females at the age of about a year and a half.
Habitat:
This little one had been wanting a feed and making the requisite noises until one of the parents came and fed them. Then they had a little nap :) Resting in this tree along the bank of the Fitzroy River near Willare Roadhouse.
