Field Notes

Description:

Small Moth, around 1 cm, nearly all yellow in colour, parasitised by fungi.
The Moth is still alive as it flew off after I took the pictures.

Habitat:

Tropical forest

It is a species of Tussock Moth - Nygmia sp. There are lots of them here in Sabah, and every one of them looks like that so it seems that those "fungi" are actually just hairs :D
