Description:

Broad, stiff-leafed plant with spike like points on the edges of the leaf. Typically grows about to 5 - 7.5 cm long, and 2 - 4 cm broad.

Habitat:

The American Holly is typically found in the East-Central, South East, and South Central United States. The state range is included but not limited too, Cape Cod, Massachusetts to northern New Jersey.
