Description:

This Diptera belongs to the family Syrphidae. Many species are included in this genera and is hard to identify them without a deeper examination.

Habitat:

Picture was taken in the Natural Reserve Ribera Norte, in San Isidro. The environment is a riverine forest. In fact it is a patch of the original. Due to the vicinity with the Delta of Paraná River, this small reserve has a high diversity.
