Field Notes

Description:

Large Flowering plant, large head with seeds in the middle, yellow flowers on the outsides. Quite tall at least 6 feet in height. Thick stalk with green leaves.

Habitat:

Western Canada, Olds Alberta.

Notes:

Very interesting plant and flower. It's large size makes it very unique and it yields delicious seeds to consume. Amazing such a large plant can grow from such a small seed, and to such heights and size in one season.
