Habitat:

Riparian woodland, predominately Oak.

Notes:

Blue bruising occurs almost instantly where damaged.

Another from Australia - Atherton Tablelands, Nth QLD... they are growing scattered in my front lawn after a few days of summer rain (there is an nature reserve consisting mainly of eucalypts about 30 metres away)
