Field Notes

Description:

1st olive green and 2nd yellow (color varies) stick-like bug with brown leg joints and a brown line down the abdomen; legs much longer than body and the antennae longer narrow head with eyes on the side; in the picture the shadow shows the curve of the body and the bent tips of the antennae; about 8 mm long body; probably a nymph since it is smaller and has no wings

Habitat:

Students found it when we were beating bushes and seeing what fell out of them onto our white sheet below for our insect lessons
