Field Notes

Description:

A beautiful Shield Bug with 'horn' structure on her thorax.
Her thorax is metallic green in colour.
Found her during a night walk, and she was taking care of her eggs.
They have been known to brood their eggs.

Habitat:

Tropical rain forest

Thanks, @venusflytrap2000 :) I was very happy to see this one and then excited to see that she was brooding her eggs. However, I only realised there was a Parasitoid Wasp when I reviewed the picture and realised I didn't had good pictures with the focus on that :(
