Species ID Suggestions

Roger Kendrick was kind enough to identify this as an Abraxas mimic. Likely Hypomecis sp. But he too agrees with bayucca that it is almost impossible to get an ID based on a photo.
THANK YOU, bayucca for taking a look at my anonymous moths . There were many, many species here at Borong, Sikkim and those at Kolkakham West Bengal (northern area) that to my eyes looked like variations on a theme. You know, white with dark splotches and then a design in black and yellow.
Geometridae, Ennominae, reminds me of an Abraxas sp, which is an extermely difficult genus and most of them can not be identified only by picture, you would need genital dissection and/or DNA. Yours is different to others I ave checked, mainly the darker band is atypical. I will try to get closer. Personally I cannot imagine another genus than Abraxas. But that does not mean much anyway... http://www.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?taxid=92167 https://www.flickr.com/photos/itchydogimages/17064379857/in/pool-mothgallery
