Description:

Called a Spindle for its slender shape, this Cowries are around 3-4 cm in length and less then 1 cm in width. When not touched, the shell is covered in mantel lobes that has papillae. When touched, the mantel will be withdrawn into their shells to show the smooth shell.

In this picture, a small sized Lobster crab sits on the Cowrie and was seen feeding.
