Description:

It is a medium sized caterpillar that has lots of spines around the body of it.The caterpillar has nice colors around it, the first is black and white speckles that have yellow and then fades to orange spines.The caterpillars where found on hackberry trees and are found commonly in the area.The caterpillars spines can sting so don't touch the spines and you will be just fine.This caterpillar will turn into a question mark butterfly that has bright orange in the inside and a leaf colored camouflage on the backside.

Habitat:

Hackberry trees are there host plant and they will be seen up th o about 2-30 up to one tree.

Notes:

The caterpillars have venomous spines.
