Field Notes

Description:

I went outside into my backyard, to find some things to photograph. I saw five snails, resting on the outside wall, of the back patio. There were five snails, and out of these five snails, there were four different species. This snail, was one inch long, and one fourth of an inch wide. This was a land snail. This snail, had a conical shaped shell. The colors of its shell, was different shades of brown. It also had dark and light wavy lines, on the outside of its shell. This shell, had seven whorls on it. Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Mollusca Class: Gastropoda

Habitat:

Notes:

I found five snails, resting on the outside wall, of the back patio. These five snails, were land snails. These five snails, equals, to four different species. The colors of this snail, was different shades of brown.
