Field Notes

Description:

One of the largest hardwood growing trees which grows up to 60 to 100 FT tall. Leaves are palmate with three or five lobes. Topside of the leaf is bright green and the underside is pale green.

Habitat:

Grows in all of the states east of the Great Plains except for Minnesota. Native Range.
