Description:

One of the most common and widespread deciduous trees throughout the United States. Often the leaves grow up to 9 to 11 cm at a time.

Habitat:

Red Maples range from the southeastern Manitoba, east of Newfoundland, south of Florida, and southwest and east of Texas.
