The all get spots in the autumn but those on the Spotless Starling are smaller than on the common Starling and soon get worn away.
Spotless Starlings are resident here all year round while the common Starling is a winter visitor. By the time they arrive the Spotless Starlings will be growing longer head feathers though there may be some overlap in length.
