Description:

The great horned owl is smaller than it Eurasian relative, the Eurasian eagle-owl (Bubo bubo). It occupies similar habitats in America, as well as sharing similar prey and nesting habits, as a diurnal ecological equivalent.

Habitat:

This one was observed in a raptor flying exhibit in Belgium.
