Description:

Black Kite is a medium sized daytime bird of prey, about 50 in length, and 150 in wingspan. The head may be a bit paler than the rest of the body, eye is pale and the beak is yellow at the base with black tip.

Habitat:

Very common in Geneva lake valley, here observed perched and flying over the forested countryside in French pre-Alps.
