Description:
This small moth was actually a creamy white ( the blue is a reflection of the background). Its pale tented wings with tinges of grey gave the moth a shimmering look. The most attractive feature is the narrow black band with yellow bars, along the trailing wing margins. Wing span was about 15 mm.
Antennae were long and swept back. Labial palps looked like brushes pointing forwards.

Spotted on a building beside a national park - Dandenong Ranges
