Field Notes

Description:

Another member of family Ericaceae found at Cosby High School. The groups of tubular flowers are distinctive, making the shrub easy to identify while in bloom. In the absence of flowers or fruit (a dry fruit quite unlike its blueberry cousins), it looks like pretty much any other deciduous heath.
