Field Notes

Description:

This fish had a yellow back and tail fin. Then there is a layer of pink and white. The fish is small. About the size of my palm. I'm guessing its a tropical fish.

Habitat:

Ocean.

Notes:

This picture was taken at an aquarium but I still foundry figure out what is was.

It does matter for the Global Reef Monitoring mission.
At least you were nicer then KimLomman! That's the only reason I'm doing this.
Fine. But I'm telling you this fish is from a coral reef. And it doesn't matter wether its seen a coral reef or not!
Hello eccatlover9! Thank you for you contributions to Project Noah. You have started a nice collection here. However, KimLomman is correct, and this spotting was thus removed from the reef monitoring mission. If you read the mission's instructions carefully, you will see that your spotting did not belong there. Spottings in this mission can be used for scientific research, as can all information posted to Project Noah, so it is important that spottings are allocated to the right mission. Project Noah is a friendly community, and we kindly ask that you remain courteous to other users at all time. Thank you. http://www.projectnoah.org/terms
Why do you care so much? Go pick on someone else.😠
It still does not belong in that mission. I doubt that fish has ever seen a natural coral reef. A lot of Anthias like that one come from other aquariums or pet trade stock, not directly from the ocean.
Happy now Miss Bratty? This fish is from a coral reef and no matter what you say, it's staying in that mission!
The coral reef project is for real coral reefs, not aquariums. That fish is not a rescue, is not being rehabilitated and will not be released into the wild. And it doesn't fit into any of the categories for the NWF mission. The only mission this spotting would be eligible for is the Captive Animal mission - http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/7973468
Why not? It's from a coral reef, it's in an aquarium and its wild life.
I don't think this spotting meets the requirements for any of the missions you have assigned.
