Congratulations on the SOTD Marta ..... lucky you!
Thanks all! We were very lucky to see such a nice animal. A gift from Borneo! :-)
Gorgeous. Wonderful photos, Marta. Congratulations to you.
Wow Marta....Congrats. I think the eyes got it. Irresistible.
Congrats Marta, the rangers have chosen this as Spotting of the Week! Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/projectnoah/photos/a.10150595289465603.674700.10150120463815603/10156226055730603/?type=3&theater Twitter: https://twitter.com/projectnoah/status/663570554880962561
Your spotting has been nominated for the Spotting of the Week. The winner will be chosen by the Project Noah Rangers based on a combination of factors including: uniqueness of the shot, status of the organism (for example, rare or endangered), quality of the information provided in the habitat and description sections. There is a subjective element, of course; the spotting with the highest number of Ranger votes is chosen. Congratulations on being nominated!
Thank you Antonio, Irina and the rest :-)
thanks for the comments :-) It was a very exciting moment. We did night walks and car tours in the road coming toward Tabin Reserve. We saw the cat just after dusk in the palm plantation fields next to Tabin Reserve. He hid rapidly in the grasses so we were very lucky. We also saw civets but for these I have very bad pics..I have to browse on my husbands pics to see if the civet can be seen. These civets were on small trees whereas the cat was in the grass field next to the road :-)
Thanks Sukanya! I think it was the size of an adult :-)
Perfect proportions....so poised too. Is it a baby?
Nice that you see them and get pictures of them!
