Description:

The Snowy egret is a small white heron with black legs and bill. Their feet are bright yellow seen in pic 3. They are best known for their wispy feathers that adults have on their backs, necks, and head.

Habitat:

Spotted foraging in backwaters at the World Birding Center at South Padre Island. Spotted from a boardwalk.
