Field Notes

Description:

Small ground foraging shorebird, they eats insects. Brownish/gray back, black beak, white neck and breast. Dark brown back, and the rest is the same when in the breeding season. May have an orange tinge to the feathers.

Habitat:

Shore.

Notes:

Lifer! The call sounded like a rapid high pitch chattering, not like a alien barking, like that of a Sanderlings.
