At grassland, on grass that has been dried.

Notes:

Height of about 10 cm.

Now known as Coprinopsis picacea ;-) There are many similar Coprinopsis species and even true Coprinus and Coprinellus species which look close. Without a microscope it would be impossible to say for sure. I doubt this is C. picacea because the scales are too fine and I believe they are supposed to grow from soil. However if you are keen to give it a name Coprinopsis picacea is as good as any for an approximate ID. The mushroom species on Borneo probably aren't well documented anyway. I wish I was there!
I think it must be a Coprinopsis species, however Coprinus is also possible.
