Field Notes

Description:

Nice patterns on this one. About 350mm long, short spines covering most parts of the body. Well camouflaged in this environment.

Habitat:

Splayed in a sunlit sandy hollow beside a walking track. Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve.

Notes:

Must be good friends with the Flying Duck orchid. Range seems to match very well.
suborder: LACERTILIA
