Description:

Male. Large, black and yellow, ground nesting solitary wasp. Morphologically is recognized by its large green eyes and his abdomen massif with yellow transverse bands. It is an orophyte species (who lives at a certain altitude). It flights between July and August

Habitat:

Alpine meadow. Parque nacional de Sierra de Guadarrama, Peñalara.
