Field Notes

Description:

These little Honeyeaters are a light grey-brown on the head and down the back. The wings have yellow along the outer edge. The adults have the rufous-orange patch on their throat that gives them the name.

Habitat:

Sitting in this Frangipani Tree (Plumeria sp.) at the waste water treatment wetlands.

Notes:

There is not a lot of information about these little birds...
