Field Notes

Description:

Stockier than other earwigs I have seen and widens markedly at the tail. Strong, thick pincers also shorter and thicker than many. Black with pale legs

Habitat:

Nocturnal. In leaf litter

Notes:

It was surprising to find this one identified from an Australian specimen in the Northern American Bug Guide but it is appreciated.
