Description:

about 3 cm in length; this caterpillar was hanging from the leaves of a desert nettle plant, every few seconds, he would jerk or swing his upper body up, then he stayed quite still; these particular plants are numerous in the wadis and caterpillars could be found on most older plants

Habitat:

spotted in a rocky desert wadi
